One of my paintings has been selected by the United Nations to illustrate the cover of their global report on femicide in 2023, published on November 25, 2024, to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
This report highlights a global tragedy: femicide, a scourge that claims the lives of thousands of women each year and leaves thousands of children without their mothers.
My artistic work aligns with the theme of femicide, which is why it was chosen, as my entire body of work delves into the suffering experienced by children, particularly that of girls.
As an artist, through the monstration of my work, this is my way of actively contributing to a cause that deeply affects me and concerns us all.
